Share My Date makes it even easier for you to let your friends or family know when, where, and with whom you’re going on a date.
Simply click on the Share My Date calendar icon from the conversation with the person you’re going on a date! From there you can fill out all your date details. After filling everything out, click “share” to send a date link to as many friends or family members as you want to be looped in. Anyone with the link can view your date page, and the link will automatically expire 7 days after the date. You can view your own date history for 90 days.
Will my date be able to see that I've used Share My Date?
Nope! This information is just for you...and whoever you choose to share the date link with.
Why don’t I see the Share My Date calendar icon in my messages?
The feature is currently available on the Android app (version 4.90 and newer) and iOS! If you don’t have the option yet (and have the most up-to-date version of the app), we still encourage you to share your date details another way, such as sending your friends/family a text message or email with all the details.
If I need to report something that happened on my date, what do I do?
If you or anyone is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement right away. If you need to contact POF to report a profile you can find a “Contact Us” or “Report an Incident” button when viewing a saved date. Or, fill out our help form here. Please include the Date ID and POF username if you have it.
What if I can’t find my date location within the feature?
This is powered by Google Maps…if your date location isn’t in Google Maps, you can either choose the closest location and use the “Notes” section to add the rest of the location details or, alert your friends and family of your upcoming date another way, such as over text or email. (Whatever helps you feel the safest!)
