Changing from POF Plus to POF Premium or POF Prestige – Plenty of Fish

Did you purchase POF Plus, but want to upgrade your membership tier? Not to worry, you can make the change yourself AND get an automatic refund for the remainder of your current subscription of your POF Plus membership. Pretty cool, right?

With POF Premium you get the same great benefits of POF Plus, with the added bonus of access to our Premium features like Unlimited Likes, first look at new members, and so much more!

Want to make the change?

Simply use the same method you purchased POF Plus on to make your POF Premium purchase. (Meaning, if you purchased POF Plus using your iOS app, purchase POF Premium using your iOS app too (yes, at full price), and you'll receive an automatic refund for the remainder of your current subscription.

Still confused? Here is a step-by-step:

1. Find the option to upgrade to POF Premium on features like Meet Me, on the Interested in Me page (where you can see members who have Liked you), just make sure you use the same method as your POF Plus purchase (iOS app, Android app, or on the web at POF.com.) Once you see the button that says "upgrade" - go ahead and click that!

2. You'll see the FULL PRICE of a POF Premium or POF Prestige membership - don't worry, after you purchase it you'll receive an automatic refund for the remainder of your current subscription. (I know it's a little confusing...it's a new feature, so please bear with us!)

3. When you complete your purchase, you'll have access to your new POF Premium or POF Prestige features right away (AND all the POF Plus ones - yay!)

4. Your refund is automatic and you don't need to do anything - but it can sometimes take 1-10 days to see it on a credit card statement

*Apple and the web will charge you in full but automatically refund the pro-rated amount of your POF Plus membership. GooglePlay will actually only charge you the incremental price difference (also pro-rated).

On iPhone

Once you upgrade, changes to your subscription will occur within 24 hours or less and you will be charged for your new POF Premium subscription immediately. Apple should issue a refund for the remaining time you had left on POF Plus.

Once you upgrade, changes to your subscription will be made immediately. You’ll be charged a prorated amount (the difference in price between the subscriptions) and changes to your subscription will be made immediately.

On Web

Once you upgrade, changes to your subscription will occur within 24 hours or less and you will be charged for your new POF subscription immediately. A refund will be issued for the remaining time that you had left on your original subscription, but this transaction may not appear immediately in your account.

Note: You’ll only be able to upgrade the type of subscription you have ( POF Premium), not the length of the subscription package. For example, if you’ve subscribed to POF Plus for 6 months and upgraded to POF Premium or POF Prestige, you’ll only be able to upgrade to the 6-month POF Premium / POF Prestige package.
