Like this haiku, your profile would be short and sweet, and you don't want to get too wordy and risk losing your audience in a landslide of detail. Include your basic "good to know", and a few funny or charming details, and leave the rest for the first date. And don't forget to proofread! 

Be yourself when it comes to writing a headline. Your headline appears in various places around POF, usually next to your name. It is one of the first things another user sees when they come across your profile, so it should be something that will catch their attention. If you're looking for ideas, think about something flirty, memorable, or even a song lyric. For example, "Terrible at board games, but still game for a round of Uno" or "Forever afraid of spiders" are cute headlines that capture a glimpse of your personality.

Be positive and try to avoid talking about what you don't want. Dwelling on the type of person or characteristics you aren't looking for won't help attract the person you are. Instead, keep an open mind. One of the best parts of dating is exploring new possibilities!
