Request Selfie Verification

If you’ve Selfie-verified your profile, you’ve now unlocked the ability to request others do the same, ensuring that the person you’re talking to is the real deal.

How to Use Plenty of Fish's In-App Selfie Request Feature:

Once you’re verified, you can ask other members to verify themselves as well. Here's how:

Start a conversation: Verification requests can only be sent through the conversation view. If there’s someone you’re interested in, send a message.

Request Verification: In the conversation view, you'll see a shield icon in the top right navigation bar. Tap that button, and the request bottom sheet will appear.

Send the Request: If you’re ready, take the plunge and request verification. The other member will receive a notification asking them to verify their photo by taking a selfie. If they successfully Selfie-verify, you'll receive a notification in the conversation of their verification status. Their avatar photo will also now show the Selfie-verified badge
