Plenty of Fish has introduced the Safety Toolbox, a centralized dashboard for all your safety needs, available on both the app and web. Here’s how to navigate and use it:


 

Accessing the Safety Toolbox

On the App:

  • Open the POF app
  • Navigate to your profile, another members profile or a conversation
  • Tap the safety toolbox icon
  • Safety toolbox dashboard will open
     

On the Web:

  • Log in to your POF account
  • Navigate to the top bar
  • Tap the safety toolbox icon
  • Safety toolbox dashboard will open



 

Key Features

Selfie Verification

  • Build Trust: Verify your identity with a selfie. A badge appears on your profile once verified.
  • Request Verification: Ask others to verify their profiles directly from your chat interface.
     

Share My Date

  • Stay Safe: Share your date details (location, time, date) with a trusted contact before heading out.
     

Crisis Text Line

  • Get Support: Connect with a crisis counselor via text if you’re in emotional distress.
     

Reporting and Blocking

  • Report Issues: Quickly report inappropriate behavior or content.
  • Block Users: Easily block anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
